Or they could read my last response so they know everything, also your not a mod so dont try to be one. If I gave a crap about there response then they'd read all of the posts i've made in the last couple of pages (if I have done) then they should comment, if they seen one and post then I dont care.

I'm having lots of fun doing the missions and collecting the weapons, but I wish there was a title if you unlock all the secret discoveries. Right now I would be 8/12 discoveries made. We could get the "Historian" Title for making all 12 discoveries!

There is enough "Us vs Them" going around right now between those who have BMP and those who don't. Let's not add fuel to that flame fest.

Congratulations on getting that many of the bonuses so far! A title sounds like a fun idea, but I don't believe it could count toward the KOABD title track. It doesn't require nearly the amount of work other titles that lead to the KOABD do.

SHAKTI... I think it's great for people to express positive feelings and ideas about the BMP in this thead. There's no reason for Tarzan to feel responsible for anyone else's reactions. Leave that responsibility where it belongs... with the ones reacting.

All I was pointing out was with the existing bad feeling a title available only to those of us who have the BMP would most likely result in a whole lot of conflict (see the threads that have been closed due to the pages and pages of backbiting)

I was in no way making Tarzan somehow responsible for that sniping and if it seemed I was I apologize to him.

I do however think titles based on the BMP is not the best idea. A title available only to some when the unavailability to others is already causing this much bs? No thanks.

Yeah, things like drinking booze, afking in rings, and double-clicking candy pieces require much more work than actually going out and playing the game, and definitely deserve a title track. Instead of promoting title tracks that are earned via gameplay, we should all just afk for KoaBD.

I can live with the fact that I didn't get the BMP for free because I bought the boxed version of the game. Its a slap in the face that I can live with, I don't see anything wrong with being able to live with something that was a slap in the face I would be upset if there is not going to be another chance for me to BUY the BMP. I understand that I did not get it for FREE, but I just don't see any harm in selling that bonus pack in a store.

I just figured out what this means:

Completing each mission also unlocks “Discovery Mode” for that mission, adding three hidden, bonus goals for you to discover. For each bonus goal you complete, Durmand will give any one character on your account an additional authorized story. The additional stories can only be earned once for each account

We can do these missions as many times as we want, but for every bonus objective we complete we get a FREE authorized book without having to complete the mission.

This is actually a decent way to farm; you get 500g for completing it every time, which is more than you get from drops with the new drop assignment thingy.

Those things cost too much money for me to consider.

But there's the trade off. Titles that require expense of gold is kind of like alternative plan B. Different strokes for different folks. The only one that costs gold that I considered was the skill hunter. Otherwise, I got my PKM with GMCs and Protectors. And I'm going after Vanquisher, Lightbringer, Spearmarshal, etc. Consequently, I've got a lot of alcohol and sweets that I'll never use if you want to buy them.

I'll restate my position then to make that distinction. Achieving bonuses in the BMP missions requires no gold expended and much less work than protectors or GMCs. There! Does that clarify things for you? And stop right there if you think I'm going to get in an argument about which is more valid... spending gold or working for it. I'm a firm believer in "To each his own."

Oh yeah I could go for a title specific only to the BMP woohoo yeah baby lets make one Anet. <dances around computer chair> And really mods this thread is just turning into another whinning thread about why those that didn't get the BMP should be able to get it now that they've seen the skins and what all it includes. I say never give it to them Anet they don't deserve it. The forfeited their chance to get it and shouldn't be given 2nd and 3rd chances. It was a "promotional" item not a "sale" item and it should never be a "sale" item unless you charge $40 for it. Maybe even $50 since it will be rare now and nowhere to be found except from you guys. You could make a fortune. But, then you'll have whinners that say it's too expensive and then start threads like this again wanting it free or for $10. hahaha

I'd like to see that myself a title specific only to the BMP portion. I also agree everyone had plentie of time to get the game what was it 3-4 months total? But, I think some are just content beating a dead horse, but, I don't think Anet is going to comply either nor should it as that would be unfair to those that did spend the extra money to get the BMP and also bought the game from an outside source to get the box and all the goodies it has.

For the record, Anet has not decided one way or the other.

It is still possible they will offer the BMP again (I honestly don't care if they do or don't; it doesn't effect me at all one way or the other).

Maybe they could offer it as a promotion once again in the future, and not for separate purchase. Only difference to EoTN Promotion then would be that people would know exactly what they would get should they use the store enough to get the BMP.
